Diversity and Inclusion

We are working to build a corporate culture of mutual respect and respect fundamental human rights of employees and non-employees alike. We are creating an environment where everyone can work with energy and brightness to maximize the potential of our employees' different personalities and skills and boost corporate vitality.
The MEDIPAL Cantabile Program
The MEDIPAL Cantabile* Program engages in grassroots activities that span all Group companies, under the key themes of promoting understanding of diversity and inclusion, ensuring psychological safety, and promoting the active participation of women.
- *Cantabile is a musical term meaning song-like. Everyone working in the MEDIPAL Group wants to be part of a “health support orchestra” that brings a rich song-like tone to the performance, rather than simply playing off the musical score (in their job roles).

Promotional Activities
We provide D&I training and initiatives to deepen understanding of unconscious bias so that each employee can see D&I as their own issue, change their awareness, and act independently.
In addition, we select one D&I-related theme each month and distribute it to employees as an e-mail newsletter, helping them feel closer to D&I and serving as an opportunity to change their behavior.

Women's Activity Promotion
We strive to create a workplace environment that makes it possible for all women who work in our Group to achieve a good work–life balance, enabling them to work energetically and grow personally along with the Company. We aim to achieve “percentage of female employees in management positions of 20% or higher” in FY2030, as a target for women’s activity promotion.

Women’s Coordinators
We have designated the Women’s Coordinator role for sales representatives specialized in female-specific health issues who are responsible for delivering comprehensive information to medical facilities on pharmaceuticals related to women’s health, as well as disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. The Women’s Coordinator role also creates new opportunities for the participation of women in the workplace, opening up a new career path for female employees that suits their different life stages.
