History

MEDIPAL was formed through the April 2000 merger of three pharmaceutical wholesalers with over a century of experience, the oldest of which began business operations in 1898. The MEDIPAL Group has sustained its growth through the expansion of its business scale and through innovation.

Today, the Company provides services throughout Japan through a network of more than 300 bases–in locations as far north as Hokkaido and as far south as Okinawa.
Regarding a range of products that includes pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, clinical diagnostics, cosmetics, daily necessities, and raw ingredients for food processing, we are carrying out our social mission of reliably delivering products essential to people’s safety and peace of mind, when they need them, even during emergencies. We have been carrying out this mission for over a century now, and we have no intention of changing.
