Support for Patients with Rare and Intractable Diseases

The MEDIPAL Group supports RDD (Rare Disease Day), an initiative aimed at improving the quality of life of patients with rare and intractable diseases through better diagnosis and treatment. RDD events are held in February of each year.
During that time, MSs and other employees of MEDIPAL Group companies wear the official RDD badge and work to increase the recognition of rare and intractable diseases.

Support for Momiji House

MEDIPAL, as a company that plays an important part in healthcare, supports ”Momiji House”, a short-term in-patient facility for children with serious illnesses and disabilities and their families. It is operated by the National Center for Child Health and Development.

Enactment of Bone Marrow Donor Leave

Employees can take special paid leave for the procedures necessary for donating marrow, including registration, testing, hospitalization and health examination.

Supporting Activities to Eradicate Hunger and Poverty

MP Gokyo Food & Chemical Co., Ltd. support the activities of the Japan Association for the World Food Programme (WFP), an authorized NPO supporting the UN WFP, whose mission is to eradicate hunger and poverty, and support the activities of the NPO to eradicate hunger and poverty as one of its council members.

Children of the Future

Awareness-raising Activities on Childhood Diseases through the JAPAN SOCIETY OF SCHOOL HEARLTH

We contribute to the improvement and development of school health and the healthy growth of children by supporting disease education, prevention, pre-disease measures, and early detection through awareness-raising activities on childhood diseases.

Support for Young Carers

The Medipal Group provides various support activities such as holding company tours and providing work experience for children who are responsible for daily housework and caring for their families, which are normally assumed to be the responsibility of adults.

Participation in the Kuruma Kodomo 110 movement

As part of its community-oriented operating activities, MEDICEO CORPORATION applies Kuruma Kodomo 110 stickers to its company-owned vehicles to help make neighborhoods safer for children. (In this program, children are encouraged to seek the assistance of drivers in vehicles displaying the Kuruma Kodomo 110 sticker if they are in danger.)

Company Tours

The MEDIPAL Group runs tours of its logistics centers and other facilities for employees' family members. These tours are a valuable opportunity to promote a better understanding of the MEDIPAL Group's business activities.

Protecting Nature

Held a "MEDIPAL Environment Month"

In June every year, the MEDIPAL Group runs MEDIPAL Environment Month, in line with World Environment Day* on June 5. Throughout the month, the entire Group gets involved in environmental conservation activities, such as local community clean-up days. These allow the MEDIPAL Group to support local environmental conservation, while at the same time raising employee awareness of the global environment.

* A day that commemorates the UN Conference on the Human Environment that met in Stockholm from June 5, 1972. The UN agreed to the proposal, tabled by Japan, to designate June 5 as World Environment Day.
In Japan, the Basic Act on the Environment (1993) established this day as Environment Day.

Support for Local Flower Display Campaign

ATOL CO., LTD. participates in a campaign by Fukuoka City to enhance the attractiveness and amenity of the city with the beauty of flowers. By planting flowers all over the city, the campaign hopes to foster community spirit and emotional wellbeing.
