Thorough compliance is a management priority in the MEDIPAL Group. To grow continuously with the trust of all our stakeholders, each of us must not only comply with laws, but follow social rules and manners and act with a strong sense of ethics. Raising Awareness of Compliance

“CSR News” is posted monthly on the bulletin board of the MEDIPAL Group’s internal network. It presents examples of compliance issues to raise awareness of compliance.
CSR training is also conducted regularly through online training and other programs.

Establishing and Maintaining Internal Controls

We have established an internal control policy based on the Corporation Law of Japan to ensure that the MEDIPAL Group’s operations remain sound. In cooperation with Group companies, we are working to establish and maintain internal controls.
All applicable Group companies comply with internal controls over financial reporting based on the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and work to ensure appropriate disclosure.

Employing a Whistleblower Hotline

To discover and solve problems within the Group earlier, the MEDIPAL Group set up an internal whistleblower hotline on April 1, 2006, and employs it to solve various problems while protecting whistleblowers. We provide two contacts, one inside and one outside the Company, to facilitate consultation.
