February 2001 SENSHU YAKUHIN CO., LTD. (Akita-shi, Akita) begins pharmaceutical wholesale business
March 2003 USHIODA SANGOKUDO YAKUHIN CO., LTD. (Mito-shi, Ibaraki) becomes a wholly owned subsidiary
September 2003 IZUTSU PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD. (Kyoto-shi, Kyoto) becomes a wholly owned subsidiary
HEISEI YAKUHIN CO., LTD. (Gifu-shi, Gifu) becomes a wholly owned subsidiary
February 2004 KURAYA SANSEIDO enters into a business alliance with YONYAKU CO., LTD. (Takamatsu-shi, Kagawa) and NAKAZAWA UJIKE PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD. (Kochi-shi, Kochi)
April 2004 EVERLTH Co., Ltd. (Hiroshima-shi, Hiroshima) and ATOL Co., Ltd. (Fukuoka-shi, Fukuoka) become wholly owned subsidiaries and the MEDICEO Group is inaugurated
May 2004 NAKAGAWA SEIKODO CO., LTD. (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) becomes a wholly owned subsidiary
October 2004 After spinning off its prescription pharmaceutical wholesale and other businesses, the company becomes an operating holding company and changes its corporate name to MEDICEO Holdings Co., Ltd.
April 2005 Chiyaku Co., Ltd. (Chiba-shi, Chiba) becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of MEDICEO Holdings
July 2005 MEDICEO Holdings acquires an equity position in SHIKOKU YAKUGYO CO., LTD.
October 2005 MEDICEO Holdings integrates its management with PALTAC CORPORATION and changes its corporate name to Mediceo Paltac Holdings Co., Ltd.
January 2008 KOBASHOU. CO., LTD. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) becomes a wholly owned subsidiary
December 2008 Mediceo Paltac Holdings enters into a business alliance with and acquires an equity position in Toshichi Inc. (Sasebo-shi, Nagasaki)
October 2009 Mediceo Paltac Holdings separates its prescription pharmaceutical wholesale business (purchasing, distribution, information system, customer support and other functions) to become a pure holding company, and changes its name to MEDIPAL HOLDINGS CORPORATION. KURAYA SANSEIDO Inc., which takes over the prescription pharmaceutical wholesale business, merges with SENSHU YAKUHIN CO., LTD., USHIODA KURAYA SANSEIDO Inc., YAMAHIRO KURAYA SANSEIDO Inc., HEISEI YAKUHIN CO., LTD. and IZUTSU KURAYA SANSEIDO Inc., and changes its corporate name to MEDICEO CORPORATION.
